26 Great Nail Art Ideas: Your Signature Style

Sadly, this is the last mani for the 26 Great Nail Art Ideas Challenge. Participating was a lot of fun. Today, my signature style was asked. I don't know if I really have a signature style, but if I do, it would probably be a delicate tone in tone stamping in blue...

As base color I used three coats of Colors by Llarowe Helen (Spring 2016 Collection), a sky blue with pink flakie shimmer.

For the stamping I used China Glaze Little Drummer Boy and Born Pretty Store plate L-034. As usual, I added one coat of KBShimmer Clearly On Top.

Lacke in Farbe und bunt - oliv

Lacke in Farbe und bunt is a weekly nail polish challenge by Lenas Sofa and Das Jahreszeitenhaus. Each week they have a new color scheme, and this week's color is olive green.

My olive polish is Picture Polish Mossy, a dark murky green with golden flakies. I used three coats for opacity.

For the complete fall look, I stamped with Barry M. Gold Foil and Über Chic Lovely Leaves plate. One coat of KBShimmer Clearly On Top protected the stamping.

Picture Polish are available at  Harlow & Co., Pshiiit and their own shop (plus many more, here's a list of additional retailers).

Golden Plum Ornaments

More fall colors for today.

My base color is Catrice Golden Plum-E (Feathered Fall Limited Edition), a shimmer polish with a subtle duochrome effect, shifting from copper to a more reddish hue (not really plum in my eyes, though). I used three coats for opacity.

For the stamping I used MoYou London Black Knight and Moyra stamping plate 03 - Ornaments. As usual, I added one coat of KBShimmer Clearly On Top.

Nail Crazies Unite - Chevron

Today, the Nail Crazies Unite challenge wants to see chevrons, so here are mine.

As base I used three coats of Crows Toes Nidavellir, a multichrome polish shifting from (in my pictures not visible) teal over blue to purple. It's not a shimmer, but a clear base filled with myriads of tiny flakies, so clean up was quite a hassle. It also has some green glitters in it.

After the base was completely dry, I added some chevron nail vinyls and one coat of Kiko 625 (Emerald) on my ring and middle finger. I removed the vinyls immediatley after polishing the nails and added one coat of KBShimmer Clearly On Top.

Crows Toes polishes are available at their own store (US only), Femme Fatale Cosmetics, Color4Nails and Harlow & Co.

Spot On Melody Malone

Today I'm going work appropriate ;-)

My base polish is Pahlish Melody Malone. I wore this one last year, and I think it slightly changed color in the months sitting in my helmer. The last time I wore it, it was cleary purple/lilac, now it's more of a light taupe, but still with clear purple undertones and pink glass fleck shimmer. I used three coats for opacity.

That's how it looked last year:

For the sublte stamping (it was a little more visible irl than it looks in the pictures) I used Essence Spot On, a dusky rose creme, and Über Chic Lovely Leaves plate. As usual, I added one coat of KBShimmer Clearly On Top.

Melody Malone is no longer available, but other Pahlish polishes are available on Bigcartel and at Overall Beauty.

Emerald Song

Some stamping over teal for today.

My base polish is Pahlish This Song Is Ending, a vivid teal with pink shimmer particles. I used three coats for opacity.

For the stamping I used Kiko Mirror Lacquer 625 (Emerald) and MoYou London Asia Collection 09. One coat of KBShimmer Clearly On Top finished this mani.

This Song Is Ending is no longer available, but other Pahlish polishes are available on Bigcartel and at Overall Beauty.

26 Great Nail Art Ideas: Autumn

Meteorologically speaking, fall begun two weeks ago. So it's time for the first real autumn mani this season.

I celebrate this season with some indian summer trees. As base I used two coats of MoYou London Café Au Lait, for the stems Catrice Smooth Chocolate and for the leaves MoYou London Sweet Custard, Autumn Harvest and Rusty Red. The stamping plate is Über Chic Lovely Leaves. As usual, I added one coat of KBShimmer Clearly On Top.
