A Box, Indied - One Shell Of A Time AND Born Pretty Store Stamping Plate BP-28

The fifth and last polish of the july "A Box, Indied" is by a brand I have to admit I've never heard of before: Cupcake Polish.

One Shell Of A Time is a vivid hot pink holo. The formula was quite nice to work with, the picture shows two coats.

For the stamping I used aEngland Jane Eyre and Born Pretty Store stamping plate BP-28. Born Pretty Store sent me this stamping plate for reviewing purposes, thank you so much! The stamping plate was easy to use, the pattern is engraved in the perfect depth and my stamper was able to pick up the pattern nicely. I can absolutely recommend this stamping plate.

Cupcake Polish are available at their own store, at Norway Nails, at Color4Nails, at Harlow&Co., Hypnotic Polish and at LiveLovePolish. One Shell Of A Time is exclusive to the july "A Box, Indied". The box is available at Llarowe as one-month-only or as subscription ($50 per box).

52 Week Challenge - Tape Mani / Green with A Box, Indied - A Walk In The Park

This week's challenge themes are green and tape mani, and since one of the july "A Box, Indied" polishes is green, I decided to go for this one.

Contrary Polish A Walk In The Park is a grass green jelly with magenta flakie microglitter. The first coat was quite sheer and patchy, but the polish builds up nicely. I ended up using three coats. I didn't get it 100% opaque, but with a jelly that was to be expected.

After placing three pieces of nail tape on my middle and ring finger, I added one coat of aEngland Tess D'Urbervilles. I immediatle removed the tape and added one coat of KBShimmer Clearly On Top.

Contrary Polish are available at Llarowe, Femme Fatale, Mei Mei's SignaturesNorway Nails and Rainbow Connection (UK only). A Walt In The Park is exclusive to the july "A Box, Indied". The box with five indie polishes is available at Llarowe as a one month only box or as subscription (50$ per box).

a England polishes are available at various places, you'll find a complete list of retailers here.

A Box, Indied - Clubbin' Teal Dawn

The third polish of the july "A Box, Indied" is Glisten&Glow Clubbin' Teal Dawn.

Clubbin' Teal Dawn is a teal linear holo (my pictures are not really color accurate, the color is a littel more green-leaning than my photos show). The picture shows three coats plus topcoat.

For the stamping I used a England Saint George and Pueen plate 76. I finished with one coat of KBShimmer Clearly On Top.

Glisten & Glow polishes are available at their own store, Llarowe, Color4Nails, Rainbow Connection and Overall Beauty. Clubbin' Teal Dawn is exclusive to the july "A Box, Indied". The box is available at Llarowe as one-month-only or as subscription ($50 per box).

A Box, Indied - Last Light

The next polish of the july "A Box, Indied" is Crows Toes Last Light.

Last Light is a blurple polish (somewhere between blue and purple) with pink shimmer. I used three coats (plus topcoat) for the pictures.

For the stamping I used Bundle Monster plate BM-017 and BarryM Lilac Foil. One coat of KBShimmer Clearly On Top finished this mani.

Crows Toes polishes are available at Llarowe and Overall Beauty. Last Light is exclusive to the july "A Box, Indied". The box is available at Llarowe as a one-time-only box or as a monthly subscription.

A Box, Indied - Sunburned

The july "A Box, Indied" has arrived, and here's the first polish: Black Cat Lacquer Sunburned.

Sunburned is a extremely vivid neon polish in a color not quite pink but not quite orange either, and it contains tiny pink flakies. Is there such a thing as neon coral? If there is, that's exactly the color of Sunburned. The picture shows tree coats (plus topcoat).

For the stamping I used P2 Eternal and MoYou London Kaleidoscope Collection plate 04. I finished with one coat of KBShimmer Clearly On Top.

Black Cat Lacquer are available at their own store (US and Canada), at MeiMei's Signatures and at Anjo Beauty. Sunburned is exclusive to the july "A Box, Indied". The box with five indie polishes is available at Llarowe as a one month only box or as subscription (50$ per box).

52 Week Challenge - Swirls / 3 Shades of Red / Orange

Swirls and tree shades of red or orange are this week's challenge themes.

On my pinkie, index and thumb I used three coats of China Glaze Lubu Heels, a black jelly with tons of tiny ruby red glitter.

For my ring and middle finger I started with three coats of Manhattan 46K, a cherry red creme, added a drop of MNY 357, a very dark red creme, and mixed them together by swirling a toothpick. As always, I added one coat of KBShimmer Clearly On Top.

Zoltar Speaks

Zoltar Speaks is the name of today's polish.

"Zoltar Speaks is a teal jelly with flakies of gold and silvery white!", says Nikole, the creator of Hare Polish. I used three coats for opacity and had no issues with the formula. One coat of KBShimmer Clearly On Top provided a shiny finish.

Hare polishes are available on Etsy or at Llarowe.
