52 Week Challenge - Skittles / Red and Pink

A new week, two new challenge themes: Red and pink skittles.

I started with two coats of Kiko 511 (Metallic Mercury Purple). I don't see either mercury or purple in this polish, but a antique pink foil.

Then I used MouYou London Zodiac Collection plate 09 (Libra) and stamped a different design on each nails using aEngland Perceval, a very vivid red shimmer. One coat of KBShimmer Clearly On Top finishes this mani.

a England polishes are available at various places, you'll find a complete list of retailers here.

Sweetheart, It Wasn't Me!

For today's mani I used two polishes of the Essence Good Girl, Bad Girl limited edition.

The base color is It Wasn't Me!, a cool toned purple glitter polish. I used three coats, but I wasn't really happy with the formula. It was somewhat stringy and not too easy to apply. It Wasn't Me! dries quite gritty, the pictures show the polish with topcoat.

For the stamping I used Hello, Sweetheart and Lily Anna plate 05. One coat of KBShimmer Clearly On Top finished this mani.

Cygnus Loop (H)

It's time for another one of the gorgeous ILNP Multichromes: the holo version of Cygnus Loop.

"The rainbow sparkle in the new Cygnus Loop (H) accents the space-aged nail polish perfectly! Your beautiful nails will look as if they're really from another galaxy!

Depending on the light and angle of your lovely fingertips, Cygnus Loop (H) will shuffle through a bright purple, to orange, to yellow, and even a little bit of green. On top of that, it will sparkle like it's been hit with diamonds!"
(Source: ILNP)

I used three coats for opacity.

For the stamping I used P2 Eternal and MoYou Kaleidoscope Collection plate 06. Then I added one coat of KBShimmer Clearly On Top. Again, I was impressed with the longevity of this polish, I wore this mani for a whole week without any chipping and only minor tipwear!

ILoveNailpolish are available on Etsy and at their own shop.

A Box, Indied - Stormy Seas AND Born Pretty Store Water Decals

Today's polish of the june "A Box, Indied" is Colors By Llarowe Stormy Seas.

Stormy Seas is a cerulean blue polish with pink and blue shimmer particles. I used three coats for the pictures. The water decals I used were provided by Born Pretty Store for reviewing purposes, thank you very much! I just cut the decals to the size I needed, removed the clear protective foil and put them into warm water for about 30 seconds, until they slid easily off the transfer paper. The decals are pretty thin, but if you wet your fingernails, you can slide them around without tearing them (the wet nails part is important, if you try it with dry nails, you probably will tear them). No hassle with application to report. After patting my nails dry with a paper towel I added one coat of KBShimmer Clearly On Top to secure the decals. If you cut your pieces too big, don't worry, you can clean up with nail polish remover or acetone just like regular nail polish.

Colors By Llarowe are available at Llarowe and at Harlow & Co. Stormy Seas is exclusive to the june "A Box, Indied". The box with five polishes is available at Llarowe as a one month only box or as subscription (50$ per box).
