A Box, Indied - Opposites Attract

Serum No. 5 Opposites Attract is today's "A Box, Indied" polish.





I used three coats of Opposites Attract on my pinkie, index and thumb. On my ring and middle finger I made some stamping decals on my new Ubermat, using Bundle Monster Plate BM-604 and P2 Eternal for the stamping and Opposites Attract, a England Tristam and Colors By Llarowe As Rome Burned to fill it out. One coat of KBShimmer Clearly On Top finished this mani.

Inverse Universe is Hare Polishes contribution to the september "A Box, Indied"

Inverse Universe has a plum colored jelly base filled with holographic microglitters and mutichrome flakies. I used three coats oand added one coat of KBShimmer Clearly On Top.

A Box, Indied - Shiny Happy People

Shiny Happy People is the name of CrowsToes contribution to the september "A Box, Indied".





Shiny Happy People is a green thermal polish with flakies and holographic microglitter. It's light and grassy when warm and a little darker when cold. With my icey hands, you see the cold state on most pictures.

For the stamping I used KikoMirror Lacquer 626 and UberChic Beauty plate Far East 01. One coat of KBShimmer Clearly On Top finished this mani.

A Box, Indied - Under The Night Sky

 It's time for the september "A Box, Indied", The first polish I want to show you is Black Cat Lacquer Under The Night Sky.









 Under The Night Sky is a midnight blue jelly with silver holographic shard glitters. I used three coats and finished with one coat of KBShimmer Clearly On Top.

52 Week Challenge - Zig Zag / Dark and Grungey

 

Today I have the last "52 week Challenge"-mani to show you. For a whole year I've been following prompts, and it was quite fun. That's why I'll start a new one year challenge next week. But until then, here are the last two themes for this challenge: zig zag and dark & grungey.





My base color is Cult Nails Masquerade, a dark green jelly with color shifting glitters, shifting from green to pink. I used three coats on my pinkie, index and thumb.

For the other two nails, I started with three coats of Nubar Gem, a nude base with pink shimmer and scattered holo glitter. Atfer this base was completely dry, I added two coats of Masquerade over small chevron nail vinyls and removed the vinyls right after the second coat. One coat of KBShimmer Clearly On Top finished this mani.

Vitamin Sea

Today's polish is KBShimmer Vitamin Sea,










KBShimmer describe Vitamin Sea as "An aqua jelly polish with pink, silver, and micro holographic glitters. Vitamin Sea tends to photograph more blue then teal."

I absolutely agree with KBShimmer's comment about the photographs, my pictures show the polish blue, but the base really is teal (in my eyes it's too dark to be called aqua). I used three coats for opacity and added one coat of Nail Pattern Boldness Glitter Food and one coat of KBShimmer Clearly On Top for a smooth finish.

Acid Ocean

Today's polish is Indigo Bananas Acid Ocean.

Acid Ocean is "a deep blue to blue green base with several kinds of aqua and green colorshifting (ultra thin) flakies, and a bronze to green shifting shimmer.  Flakies shift green blue to violet blue. Overall color is an emerald green to dark teal effect, depending on the light."

52 Week Challenge - Waterfall / Violet

This week's themes give me an opportunity to try a new-to-me technique: waterfall nails





My main color is Cadillacquer I Want To See It All, a plum colored jelly with pink flakie glitter. I used three coats for opacity.





For my two waterfall accent nails I followed this tutorial by The Nailasaurus and used I Want To See It All, OPI Planks A Lot, Essence Baby, Baby, Ooh!, Catrice PLUMBeach and Nubar Treasure over a base of Essie Bangle Jangle. One coat of KBShimmer Clearly On Top finished this mani.
