Dark Depths

You already know how much I love Emily de Molly polishes, so I'll just stop babbling about it and tell you the name of today's EdM polish: Dark Depths

Dark Depths has a royal blue base filled with lots of duochrome hex glitters in various sizes, shifting from royal blue to a green-ish aqua, plus some sparkly microglitter. Sadly, the color shift is less prominent on the nail than it is in the bottle, and it's extremely camera-shy. It was hardly possible to catch the shift, only a few glitters show their green side in some of the pictures. But the shift is there, you just have to believe me (and I tried everything, from differend hand poses, different light settings to the famous bowl of water).

Application was easy, as it (almost) always is with Emily de Molly polishes. I used three coats for opacity and added one coat of Essence Better Than Gel Nails Top Sealer for a smooth finish.

    1. Gibt es eine Zeit in der Blau nicht passt? Ich könnte immer blau tragen, 362 Tage im Jahr (Heilig Abend, Weihnachten und unser Nationalfeiertag sind die Ausnahmen) ;-)

    1. Oh yes, at Llarowe it's always a race, who has the fastest clicks... At MeiMei's they're a little easier to get.

  6. I have been eyeing EdMs for a long time now but restocks usually happen when I am at work. And I lose out :( Where do you get yours from?

    1. I usually get them at Llarowe, but they sell out really fast. It's a little easier at Mei Mei's. But sometimes it takes several attempts to buy one...
